Get to know Elena
Elena Volotovskaya graduated from the Faculty of Global Economics of the State University of Management in Moscow. In 2006, she became a Ph.D. in Economics and continued her education at California State University, getting an MBA in 2008.
Today Elena is an investment guru with many years of experience in the field of M&A. She began her career at Softline as a Director for Institutional Investor Relations, and then founded the Softline Venture Partners Fund. The Fund amount is over USD $20 million, and its portfolio has over 15 projects. The Fund invests in cloud and SaaS, digital marketing, enterprise software, information security and e-commerce. Elena also runs the joint fund of Softline, and the RVC seed fund that makes seed investments in technology projects.
Elena not only runs these funds, but also devotes much time to social projects. She is a member of the Presidium of ‘OPORA RUSSIA’, as head of the Committee ‘OPORA RUSSIA’ on information technology. In 2013, Elena received the prestigious Venture Award 2013 in the category Venture Woman of the Year.
Elena is married and has two daughters. Sport and reading good books are an indispensable part of her life.
